Amazon FBA Product Research: Beginners Guide
Becoming an Amazon FBA seller is a great way to earn a steady income and be your own boss. But before you set up your Amazon FBA account, you first have to decide what products you want to sell. If you don’t already have a product in mind, you are not alone. To find the right products that will help you succeed, you first need to conduct plenty of product research. It is one of the main things you must do to get your start selling on Amazon.
Finding the Best Items to Sell On Amazon
Choosing a product to sell requires more than just finding out which items are hot at the moment. You need a product that has staying power. As well as one that isn’t just a passing fad. That is why research is so important. There are several things you should ask yourself before you make a final decision. An Amazon FBA Seller List is below.
Find the Right Product at the Right Price
It is always good to look for products that have a sales price of $15 or more. That will give you a good steady income. Only if you sell enough of them, and it is a low-priced item that more people will be likely to buy. For Example, a $15 item, you can expect to get around $5 in profit for each order. Anything under the $15 will not leave you with much after your fees are taken out.
Look for items that are in High Demand
Look for products that generate at least $3,000 per month. This will help you get off to a successful start. But it all depends on your personal goals. As well as how much you want to make on the product itself. With this amount, you can expect to make a profit of around $1,000 per month after all your shipping and fees are taken out.
Find a Product that’s Easy to Manufacture
Easier the product is to manufacture, the faster you will be able to get your hands on it. And get it out to your customers. Products will also generally cost much less if they aren’t challenging to create. All new sellers should start out with a product that is easy to make. And doesn’t require a lot of confusing assembly. Look for simple products that are made from just one piece or one single type of material for the best results.
Consider Seasonal Products
Sellers are known to have a lot of success with the right seasonal products for the holiday season. For exmaple, Halloween or Christmas. But if you aren’t sure if a product is seasonal or not. You could be releasing it at the wrong time. Take some time to determine if a product is seasonal by checking out Google Trends or other useful tools. You can see how well a product is sold during specific months to make sure it is seasonal.
