Starting your own Amazon Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) business is exciting. Once you get it up and going, it can provide a passive income that you can make in your sleep (literally). The first bump in the road that you might find is the overwhelming process of product research. It can be hard to figure out the best Amazon products to sell if you do not know what you are doing. Click the link and read below to learn about best selling Amazon products and how to find them.

The Perfect Formula to Find Amazon Products

Project Nine University has figured out, through trial and error, that there is a formula for finding the right product to sell on Amazon. They call it the “seven and seven rule.” The rule deals with demand versus competition.

Demand
The first number refers to how many of the top ten products that you will be competing with are bringing a revenue greater than $5,000 per month. If the number is too low, that means that the demand is probably too low for you to become successful by selling that product. Seven is the perfect score here.

Competition
The second number refers to how many of the top ten products that you will be competing with have fewer than 75 reviews. If this number is too low, it means that you will have steep competition to deal with. Again, seven seems to be the perfect number here. It indicates that people are actively buying and reviewing products like yours, but that there is plenty of room in that niche for your product.

In summary, the “seven and seven” rule means that seven out of the top ten products like yours are bringing in $5,000 or more in revenue per month and that seven out of the top ten products like yours have fewer than 75 reviews.

Boost Nine: The Only Tool You'll Need to Find Good Amazon Products

Project Nine University created software that allows you to do this kind of product research very easily. When you use it in conjunction with Amazon, it will show you each of those scores discussed above. It will also show other information like the average selling price of that product. Boost Nine is designed to save you time while conducting product research and eliminate the need for guessing. The updated Boost Nine Pro version will actually show you in real-time the top fifteen products on Amazon that have a perfect seven and seven score.

Keep Your Brand in Mind

Another thing that you should consider when choosing a product to sell is your brand. You should always make sure that your products stay true to your brand so that people can learn to trust your products instead of wondering why you are selling what you are selling. Branding is important and you should always leave yourself room to grow your brand.
