Tips and Tricks: Creating Your Amazon Storefront in Just A Few Clicks

Do you have a product to sell? If you are looking for a way to create a steady income for yourself and be your own boss, consider selling your products on Amazon. Getting started selling on Amazon may seem like a daunting task at first, but it doesn’t have to be. By enrolling one of our selling courses here at Project Nine University, you will obtain the knowledge needed to find success as an Amazon FBA seller.

How to Create an Amazon Seller Account

With 300 million customers in more than 180 countries, you can reach out to a broad audience when you choose to sell your products on Amazon. It is one of the easiest ways to sell your unique products to customers located throughout the world. To get started, all you have to do is sign up. You can register for an Individual or Professional account, which can also be considered Standard and Premium.

How Much Does it Cost to Sell on Amazon?

The individual account costs you $0.99 per sale, and those who choose to use the professional account pay $39.99 per month, regardless of how much they sell. Therefore, if you think you will sell more than 40 items each month, it would make sense to sign up for a professional account. However, there is no wrong decision, and users have the option to change their plan any time they want.

There are additional fees that you will be responsible for when selling on Amazon. Selling fees are charged per every item sold. They will include any referral fees and variable closing fees that apply to media categories.

If you choose to fulfill your orders on your own, Amazon shipping rates will apply. These rates are charged based on the product category and the shipping service the buyer chooses. If you choose FBA or fulfillment by Amazon, they will take care of the shipping costs, but you will have to pay for other FBA fees such as order fulfillment, storage, and optional services that may apply.
