Want to Build a Successful Brand? Here's How

In the world of Amazon, even FBA, anyone can list a product and sell it. But it takes extra effort to actually make a profit. Even harder is to build a successful Amazon brand. Building a brand truly takes a little extra elbow grease. In this video, the team of Project Nine University talks to Tatiana. She is a successful FBA seller who has built a successful brand. She gives us a little insight into how she did it.

Find a Niche

The first thing that Tatiana talks about is her niche. She found something that she is passionate about and kept her products relevant to her passion. If you do it this way, you can streamline your process. As well as focus on one single market. (It also helps when it comes to promotion. We will get into that in a minute.) When you learn a specific market, though, it helps keep your focus when you launch more products. Switching back and forth can be confusing (for yourself and your customers.) As well as tiring. When you stick with your niche you can trust yourself to keep up with your market, and so can your customers.

Do Not Be Afraid to Self-Promote Your Amazon Brand

Self-promotion is huge in today’s market, especially with social media being a huge outlet. Definitely use social media accounts to promote your products. YouTube is a big one. Tatiana hit it big as a result of a promotional video that she posted on YouTube. Instagram is another great avenue for self-promotion. If you run an Amazon business, self-promotion for your Amazon brand can really help take your Amazon FBA business to the next level.

When you start utilizing social media, keep in mind that keywords are king. Not only should you use keywords through Amazon to connect the right people. But you should also do this with each of your social media accounts. Anytime you write anything on a social media account, you should be thinking about and incorporating keywords. (Long-tail and short-tail) into your posts.

Believe With Certainty

Another point that Tatiana brings up is that you have to believe in what you are doing without faltering. Most people believe in what they are doing when they first start. But at the signs of the first setback, people tend to begin questioning it. The reality is that setbacks will happen to everyone. If you lose your belief or confidence in your brand, it will be challenging to push forward. You just have to follow your plan. Work diligently, and trust that your planning and effort will pay off in the end.

Set Your Goals and Go!

With opportunities like Amazon FBA, you can literally set whatever kind of goals that you like and start working toward them right away. Setting specific goals is an important part of the process. A goal like “I want to make more money” is okay, but it is not specific. Tatiana wanted to make enough money to travel the world. This kind of goal is important because it gives you something specific to think about for motivation. It also helps you to put real numbers into your plan early on.
